Features

What the SubTrack app does today. Nothing on this page is planned or “coming soon” unless it says so.

Subscriptions

Add, edit, search, filter and sort your subscriptions. For each one you can store:

  • Service name, price and currency (16 currencies, including AED, SAR, KWD, USD, EUR and GBP)
  • Billing interval: every week, month or year — or every N weeks, months or years
  • Next renewal and start date, category, notes and an official cancellation link (https)

Mark a subscription as cancelled or archived to keep its record without counting it in your spending. Filter by category, status or billing interval and sort by renewal date, name or monthly cost.

Monthly and yearly equivalents

Weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly prices become comparable: a weekly price counts as ×52/12 per month, a yearly price as ÷12. Totals are kept per currency and never converted, because SubTrack has no reliable exchange rate offline. Month-end renewals (for example the 31st) and leap years are handled correctly.

Renewal reminders

Local notifications on your phone — 3 days before each renewal by default. Choose “on the renewal day” or 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 or 14 days before, per subscription, and set the reminder time in Settings. Reminders follow your device’s time zone and are rescheduled when you edit a subscription.

Your phone decides the exact delivery time; battery-saving settings can delay notifications.

Upcoming renewals

The home screen lists renewals due in the next 30 days, soonest first, together with your monthly and yearly totals and your active subscription count.

Categories

Ten built-in categories: streaming, music, software & apps, cloud storage, phone & internet, fitness, news & reading, gaming, home & utilities and other. Premium adds your own categories with a name, icon and colour.

Reports

  • Projected monthly and yearly spending per currency
  • Spending by category with its share of the total
  • Projected savings — the monthly equivalent of subscriptions you marked as cancelled, clearly labelled as an estimate
  • Confirmed savings — amounts you record yourself, for example after checking your statement
  • Premium: expected renewals for the next 12 months and your largest subscriptions

Backup, import and export

Export a JSON backup of your subscriptions, custom categories, confirmed savings and preferences, and import it later or on another device. The import checks the file first, never half-imports, and asks what to do with records that already exist. Premium adds a spreadsheet (CSV) export.

Cancellation links

Save the official cancellation page of a service and open it in your browser when you decide to cancel. SubTrack itself cannot cancel subscriptions with other companies.

Arabic and English, light and dark

Full Arabic right-to-left layout and English, switchable in Settings, plus light and dark themes.

Private and offline

No account and no SubTrack servers. Data is stored only on your device. The app contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting services.

What SubTrack does not do

No bank connection, no reading of e-mails or bills, no cloud sync, no automatic detection of subscriptions and no cancelling on your behalf. You add and update subscriptions yourself.
