Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the SubTrack mobile app (“SubTrack”, “the app”), developed and published by Ahmed Gaffar Ahmed Abdelrahim, an individual developer, not by a company. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to that developer. By using the app you agree to them. If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

1. What SubTrack is

SubTrack is a personal tool for recording subscriptions and recurring payments you already have, estimating what they cost and reminding you before renewals. SubTrack is not a provider of those subscriptions, does not process payments to them, and cannot cancel, pause or change them. Any cancellation must be done by you with the provider concerned.

2. Your data and responsibilities

• You enter and maintain all information in the app yourself and are responsible for its accuracy.
• Amounts, totals, forecasts and projected savings are estimates calculated from what you enter and from billing intervals. They are not statements of actual charges, and currencies are not converted.
• Data is stored only on your device. You are responsible for keeping backups; uninstalling the app or losing your device can delete your data.
• Do not use the app to store payment card numbers, passwords or other sensitive credentials.

3. Reminders

Reminders are local notifications scheduled through your device’s operating system. Their delivery depends on your device, its settings (such as notification permission, battery saving and time zone) and the operating system. We do not guarantee that a reminder will be delivered, or delivered at an exact time, and you should not rely on SubTrack as your only record of payment dates.

4. Premium

• Premium is an optional, auto-renewing subscription sold through Google Play or the App Store. The price, billing period and currency are shown by the store before you confirm.
• Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by the store under its terms. You can cancel at any time in your store account; Premium remains active until the end of the paid period.
• Premium currently includes unlimited active subscriptions, custom categories, a 12-month renewal forecast, a largest-subscriptions report and CSV export. The Free plan allows up to 3 active subscriptions.
• If Premium ends, your data is kept. Adding or re-activating subscriptions beyond the Free limit requires Premium again.
• You can restore a purchase on a device signed in to the same store account using “Restore purchases”.

5. Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own purposes. Do not reverse-engineer, modify or redistribute the app, circumvent Premium, or use it in breach of applicable law or the rules of the store you obtained it from.

6. Changes and availability

We may update, change or discontinue features of the app. We will update these terms when that affects you and change the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about its accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, missed renewals or cancellations, charges by third-party providers, or loss of data stored on your device. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
